The rates provided are for blocked drains only. If your drain is blocked due to a collapse or root infestation we will then refer it for
further investigation and it will no longer be covered under the fixed price. However, we can provide a quote for cleaning the drain due
to roots or provide CCTV reports to establish a drain blockage.
Obviously there will be instances where we cannot unblock drains and there may be a need for excavation. This process is also reviewed by
drainage CCTV equipment the drain repairs can usually be passed to your home insurance with the CCTV evidence.

How We Unblock Drains
Rapidfix Drain services engineers have an armoury of techniques to use to ensure that blockages are not only properly cleared but that they do not re-occur. Your local Rapidfix Drain services engineer will recommend the most appropriate technique to resolve your Blocked drain
Drain Rodding - The most basic clearance technique is to eliminate the blockage with steel rods, which will then restore free flowing conditions.
High Pressure Water Jetting - by inserting a hose with special fiitings into the pipe fires powerful water jets at up to 5000 psi. A nozzle at the hose end converts the water into laser cutting jets which strip deposits from pipe walls, flush out waste and restore full flow.
Drain Excavation - Some drains cannot be unblocked by the traditional methods and thats because the blockage is either caused by a collapse, misalginment or root infesation.
Usually these problems can be diagnosed by using our drain inspection equipment to find the approxomite problem. The ground will then be removed, the pipe repaired or replaced and the reinstated to ground level.
There are two methods of drain inspection. The most popular is the Full report CCTV inspection, which will give you evidence of your drain problem on either DVD or Video. Rapidfix offer full colour video evidence of your drain problem. You can use the drain inpection report for an insurance claims, or our drain specialists can call your insurance comapny and orgainse the claim.
The other is a look/see camera which doesn’t record but will allow you see the drain problem on screen.
